Momma-zitta

Well this is a little late, but I just have to give a little shout out to my amazing mom. Happy late birthday momma-zita. Thanks for being the most amazing mother ever! You are such a great example to me of what a good mother is. You are my go-to expert for everything---recipes, clothing, cleaning, advice. You are the best shoulder to cry on when I need you. You sacrifice so much for us. Thanks for all your love and support & for being the best mom and friend. You are a beautiful person inside and out and I'm so grateful to have you as my mom! Love ya!

Pretending.

Yesterday I was pretending to be a photographer. Well really I was practicing photography..I learned that I still have a ton to learn, but each time I shoot real people I learn a lot {especially with Jake as my teacher}. Jordan and Brady were good models and pretended to be engaged for me, even though they are newlyweds. Here's some of the pictures I took:

A few things

I have a few pictures off my cell phone that I thought I'd share...

Late night sonic trips:

We bought tickets to the BYU vs. Utah game, worst game ever, but at least I've been to one game against our rivals:

One day Jake decided to give away half of his clothes, I'm slowly working on filling up his closet again:

We try to do date night every Friday, that doesn't always happen (especially when I'm in charge) but when it does, it's great.

We've been eating lots of yummy healthy food from this site. If you're looking for something new try this, this, this. this, or this.

This is me. In Jakes clothes. For my women's studies class we had to "break gender boundaries" and then write a paper about our experience. Let's just say I prefer my own clothes and I know Jake agrees.

It's pumpkin season<3

Last week we had general conference for our church. Twice a year messages are broadcasted to church members world wide. This means two things: 1. Church in your PJs while eating yummy food and 2. Being inspired by the great talks. This year we did breakfast with friends on Saturday and Sunday morning and actually went to the conference center where they broadcast from on Sunday.

I really loved this talk, it was given at a session specifically for women, but I think that it could apply to everyone and I highly recommend it. I especially love the end but listen to the whole thing. :)
