And we're D.O.N.E.

On Friday Jake and I finallyy graduated from BYU! Technically Jake is still in school until August, but he was kind enough to walk with me so we could be with each other. Both of our families came to town to celebrate with us. We started out the morning right with Kneader's french toast then headed to the convocation ceremony. Jake's sister, Jordan, was graduating too so it was fun to have her walk with us.

We took some pictures outside and then had a lovely lunch at one of our favorite places, La Jolla Groves. Later that night we went to P.F. Changs and played werewolf at our place with our families.

On Saturday night we had a beautiful dinner at the St. Regis in Park City. One of Jeff's (father-in-law) business partners hooked us up with the chef's private table. To say we ate alot would be an understatement. My favorite part was the salted caramel sundae with carmel popcorn and salted peanuts. Oh yum. I think the baby liked it too, so maybe I'll have to go back for more?

It was so much fun to enjoy the sunny weather with our families and celebrate being done with school! It's sort of strange how our parent's support us and help us get through school, then when we are done they celebrate us, when's their celebration?? lol

A Spring Picnic

The weather has been soo nice lately and we have really been loving it! I feel like a whole new woman when the sun comes out and we get out of our little cave to enjoy it. A little while ago Jake and I decided to have a picnic at the park. The park we went to is right across the street from where he lived when we were dating so it brought back tons of funny memories. It's crazy how much our lives have changed since then! Within the next few months we will be graduating, having a baby, and moving across the country to Atlanta. We are really excited for the future, but I can't help but be a little sentimental while we soak up the last little bit of where we met and fell in love. As for Jake, he's ready to take the next plane out of here and move on with our lives lol..

I'm so glad we took a little break to enjoy the good weather! This is finals week so we will be eating cereal for dinner and staying indoors all day to study. Only 4 more days until I am DONE, DONE, DONE!
